Forest City Bassmasters Angler of the Year will be decided based on points collected from best 5 of 10 tournaments (or half if multiple tournaments are cancelled). 100 points for each first place club tournament finish, 95 for 2nd, 90 – 3rd, 85 – 4th, 80 – 5th etc. (NEW) An additional 2 points are awarded to each team member for big fish in each tournament (must be overall big fish winner in Open and inter-club tournaments as it is too hard to track big fish in these events for just FCBM members). 1 additional point at each tournament for bringing in a full bag limit will also be awarded (5 fish or 3 fish for evening tournaments). 10 points deducted from point score for 0 fish weighed for that tournament. If there is a tie at the end of the year, tiebreaker is most 1st place finishes (entire season), then most 2nd place finishes, 3rd etc. If still tied, biggest 5 fish bag.
