BBQ Meeting hosted by Angling Sports – June 28 at 6:30pm
Next meeting is at a special time and place – Angling Sports will be hosting a BBQ for us at 6:30pm on June 28 at the store (681 Highbury Ave N, London, ON N5W 4L4). Come and stock up on your supplies for the summer and enjoy some BBQ and conversation. We’ll also be hosting a small casting competition at the BBQ with prizes from MegaBass and other sponsors. Hope to see you all there. New members welcome, come a see what we are all about. This is the last meeting before the summer season – there will not be any meetings in July or August – go fishing instead!!

A big thanks to Nick Cousvis and Theo Cheng from Megabass for their excellent talk on jerkbait, crankbait and soft plastic fishing. For those interested in some further insights from Nick check out the article from Bass Resource. Everyone was impressed with Nick and Theo’s knowledge on a wide range of topics and seeing all the great lures and rods from Megabass was a real treat.

If you are planning to fish the Hank Gibson Qualifier get your signup form and cheques to the club president for signing ASAP (i.e. bring it to the meeting).

Jersey Ordering – sizing info will be available at the meeting as will forms for adding logos if you are a sponsored angler. With the sponsors on board (FCBM, Angling Sports and Valley Fashions) and sufficient orders the costs for the standard jersey (+taxes and shipping) should be quite low (est. ~$30). Bring $20 down payment please.
