Thanks to Dave McCready from Angler’s Choice!

Thanks to Dave McCready from Angler’s Choice for speaking at our club meeting in October. It was great to hear about this great Canadian bait company, how you started it and how you go about making the various baits. It’s clear that a lot of thought and testing has gone into these products. Some pictures of just some of their innovative soft plastics are below.

2018 Forest City Bassmasters Angler of the Year – T.J. Raytrowsky

2018 Forest City Angler of the Year – T.J. Raytrowsky

Congratulations to T.J. Raytrowsky who captured our Forest City Bassmasters 2018 Angler of the Year title with 472 points. T.J. was “Mr. Consistent” this year with four 2nd place finishes. This includes a crucial one at this years Chilly Lake St Clair tournament, holding off a charge from last years AOY champion Kevin Billingsley, who finished second with 465 points. Alicia Raytrowsky rounds out the top three with 461 points.

2018 Chilly Lake St Clair Results

Wind, cold, cloud cover and rain had the smallmouth shut down, those who made the switch to largemouth were able to grid out a bag. Congrats to Kevin Billingsley and Marco D’Ariano for the win and big fish honors. Second went to T.J. Raytrowsky and Scott Howe and third to Rick Hendriks and Alicia Raytrowsky.
